Help HTC Mail and ics attachments

Until this weekend, I've been able to open Internet Calendar attachments (ics) in the HTC Mail client and add the event to the Calendar. Now, HTC mail doesn't see ics attachments. I've tried clearing the HTC Mail data and cache. After setting up the account again(POP, not Exchange), the messages download without the ics attachment. I can see the attachment via the web interface and in Mac OS X Mail. Other attachments (docx, txt, etc.) work fine.

Anyone have any ideas on what to try next?

Possible that your mail settings changed to accept smaller amount of data downloads?

That wasn't ever changed -- worked previously. Other (bigger) attachments come through. I'm guessing this is an update or something that got messed up via an update?
