Help HTC Mail app HELP!!!

so i just upgraded my thunderbolt to the rezound a few days ago and i'm loving it. but im having issues with the htc email app. for some reason it wont push my email to the phone. i have tried sending test email to myself to see if my phone gets it but it doesnt. I have the receive settings to push mail for on and off peak. and the peak times set at the same time. am i doing something wrong? my thunderbolt alerted me right away when i receive an email. can someone help me?

i did that right when i got the phone. but its still not sync with my gmail. it still shows emails that ive deleted and wont alert me when i got new mail. i would have to refresh everytime. but after refreshing, i receive the new mail but still have deleted mail showing. why is that?
