Help HTC messenger

Every time I try to delete my message history the app freezes and force closes. Anyone find a way to get around this?

I don't understand what you mean. I just looked in the HTC Messenger menu and don't see an option to delete message "history".
I can delete individual messages and no issue with force closures or freezes.

That is extremely odd, just did this myself yesterday. Battery was low and phone shut off while i was doing it. once i charged it was fine and i deleted the rest. weird though........

This isn't the first time this has happened to me but my battery was also low so this could be the problem. Once my messages get over 150 it takes awhile to open.

didn't have quite that many mess. although whenever i got that high in the past(other non android phone) i noticed significant lag and bugginess. that was winmo so not sure if that is related at, just my 2 cents i suppose

Happens to me also. I've tried doing it thru Handcent and the stock app and they both freeze. Sometimes it deletes them and sometimes it doesnt.

Not a fan of handcent personally but would think it has nothing to do with yours or OP's problem.
