Root HTC One GingerICE Theme Final[OA Final]

Well here's the final version for Vitality/Admire users. This theme is based off the OA final rom and the new Sense 4 and the highly popular Holo/ICS. I put a good bit of work into this so if you want to port or use it in another rom please give appropriate credit.

Theme Features:
Sense 4 overall feel(primary green is 89C300 if anyone needs the color code.)

Inverted text colors in notification drop down. Including notifications, ongoing phone, download, secdownload. (Media scanner I'm still working on the text inversion on that app, it broke mms for me also Bluetooth will be inverted in the next release. )

Ics seekbars, volume, intermediate progress have been included.

Smooth single % sense battery mod.

Ics style activity bar with increased font size.

Ics style settings with reduced icon and text size. (XML edit in values/styles and xml/preference icon.)

Appwidget Picker added to consolidate multiple widgets in the selection menu.

Several more custom images and edits.

Instructions/Requirements:

You must be on the OA rom.(Theme based off the final build.)

Make a backup ALWAYS make a backup.

Place theme on sdcard
Reboot Recovery and install theme zip.(mount system just to be sure).

I've put quite a bit of wrench time into building a theme for our one decent rom.(spzo's 2.3.6 OA build) I've pm'd him and idk if his inbox is full or if he's checking it but once I get permission.(as he was explicit in not using his work) I'll release it to the.community. Also has anyone found a way to get anything to flash to this rom? I'm having to manually install apks via root explorer after theming them. Continued development on this project once released will depend on community feedback. This is not my primary device(its my sons) but I wanted to give something cool to the.community. Here's some screenies...

You have to edit the updater-script. Everywhere you see bin change it to xbin

Trying to locate this image. I've changed all the title_bar pngs in the framework and its still not changing. Is it one of the dividers? Anyone know?

Just to be clear (and I guess I'll put it on my rom thread as well), anyone is free to produce themes for my ROM -- thats never been an issue.
The only thing I ask is that if you are pulling elements from my rom to build your own, that you ask permission (ie: framework elements, kernel, etc...).

Upcoming changes. Custom backgrounds in system/market apps (that draw on framework) more details in images like contact badges, custom dialer back ground, darker popups. Let me know what you think.

Yeah the edit I did will allow the end user to change the background by replalacing the "sense.png" in the framework drawable- mdpi folder as long as its 320x480 they can use anything.

I found a small glitch. like on the call list the background on the phone icon turns black but nothing I'm worried about. I did notice that my spell check changed though a lot of words that were there are now missing. All in all it's still a nice slick theme

That's a known issue since eclair. There's an edit somewhere that eliminates it. I just haven't found it for GB yet. The problem is one edit turns the theme from black to transparent and the other edit allows for the custom background. What happens is a "ghost" image that is present in the call log and a few other apps with listing. As far as your dictionary im thinking its the keyboard replacement. Glad you like it otherwise.

Ah I get you. Might try to find it myself and play around with it out of boredom lol and yeah it is the keyboard had to add a few words, no biggie
