Root HTC One M8 stuck in fastboot

Hey,

I was on ARHD 22.2 (KitKat) and updated to ARHD 43 (Lollipop), but had some issues with Wi-Fi
After researching I followed some instructions to update the firmware through RUU on my PC

Tried different RUUs but each time the setup didn't work and was stuck on (0/7), then I closed the window and unplugged my phone - guess that wasn't so smart..

So now I'm
-stuck on the boot screen
-relocked
-S-on
-can't get into recovery -> leads me to fastboot

Flashed custom roms several times before, but I actually don't understand any of this and need your help

Thank you

Follow the instructions here to unlock your phone, reinstall TWRP and to flash a rom if you can't get to your nandroid backup -

http://androidforums.com/threads/help-soft-bricked-htc-one-m8.933732/#post-7043338

When in FASTBOOT USB mode, and the command window open to the sdk-tools folder, say -

fastboot getvar all

Copy /paste the results here, edit out the IMEI and serial numbers for your protection. The link above has the tip for copying from the command window.

That will indicate what M8 version you have and we can go from there for updating the firmware.

Thank you so much

Actually after unlocking it again, it booted into recovery mode and I could just flash my rom.
Don't know if that was a good idea, but everything's normal now. Thanks!
