Im trying to root my HTC One M8 and I can't.
I tried unlocking the bootloader through the dev website but it didn't because it doesn't work for Verizon for some reason. I downloaded sunshine and it says i need to be rooted for it to work. I am currently running 5.0.1 and I was wondering if it's even possible to root it at this point because im hopeless.
The Ultimate goal is to flash a 5.1 GPE rom on it.
