Help Htc one m8 volume issue

When I plug in and out ear buds I lose volume through my phone speakers. After a call, the volume from my speakers are as if I am in a call (coming out of top and low). I am then forced to restart my phone. Please help

Welcome to the forums Jaden mazz. I haven't had this issue using Bluetooth headphones. I did use a cable to connect a portable Bluetooth speaker once though and didn't experience that issue then either. I wonder if it's a wired headphones only thing or If you just have a bad unit?

This issue is a ongoing thing is in the last month or so. It happens every time I either make a phone call or plug in earbuds. Even my htc one earbuds cause the problem. It's as if it doesn't recognize that I'm out of a call or have my ear buds pulled out.

does the issue occur in Safe Mode?

it doesn't occur in safe mode.

Then it is a 3rd party app. Have you installed any apps recently since the issue has occurred?

Yes, I deleted the most recent apps and it seems like the problem is no longer occurring. Thanks for your help.
