HTC One S (unrooted) works properly. Google Voice search (factory installed) also works properly. Problem: When in "NOTES" application (factory installed) and preparing to enter a new note, the half-screen keyboard pops-up, I tap on the Microphone key, and it shows a pop-up to choose Languages, I choose "English", but then the phone does-not show the orange circle to accept dictation/voice input ... i.e. nothing happens. I suspect there must be one or more hidden parm settings that must be dealt with. Can anybody help?
On this phone when I go to Settings / Languages / HTCSense the line parameter "Voice Search" is missing (on other HTC OneS phones it is present), However, the Text-to-speach-output/Google TextEngine parm is set to "ON"; can the previously mentioned "Voice Search" missing parm might be the cause of the problem ?
