Help HTC One S Internal SD Card Lost Space

Hi Guys

My HTC One S is losing the space on it's internal SD card.

If I copy a file onto it I can see the space go down, but then when I delete that file the space doesn't go back up. I noticed it after I copied a large movie file on then deleted it after I'd seen it. I lost about 2gig.
I've read that copying large files could cause some corrupted ones to end up in a Lost.Dir folder and I had one of those but it was empty. I deleted it anyway.

The SD Card Analyser in ES File Explorer says the card has 2gb worth of stuff on it but out of the 9gb total, there's only 1gb free. I'm missing about 6gb now.

I've tried Clean Master but that only gets rid of actual crap files. Is there an app that does a CHKDSK /F type operation? (I might be showing my age there :D)

Hello and welcome to AF. :) I moved your thread to the One S forum so that other people with your device can see your thread and help out.

In case anyone else has this problem, I managed to fix it by deleting everything off the sd card.
Settings -> Storage -> Erase Phone Storage

Obviously backed everything up first.
