Htc one v on metro

Well guys, I'm here to let you know that the HTC One V will not be coming to MetroPCS. A device codenamed the K2 is in the works. Not bringing 4G was a huge factor for MetroPCS to give it the axe.

exactly, there's barely any 3g on metro anyway so why make phones for it? better to make more low end phones that are at least 4g capable.

Having just got rid of my Admire, I can tell you this about their 3G phones. You might live in an area that has 3G coverage & you might see a little 3G symbol in your status bar. However, with those phones, you are not getting true 3G speeds. Not on a 1xRTT phone. After rooting, removing crapware, & doing a bazillion tweaks, you are lucky to get 2.5G. Getting decent service out of a phone shouldn't be so much e work. I bought the Connect not only for the great specs but also the price. Interesting that they hiked the price of the Esteem up over three hundred bucks!

once again guys they have 3g they just dont have proper internet speeds everywhere. ive seen 1.1mbps on 3g and as low as 80kbps it just depends on the area and whether they dont have it capped
