Help htc one x plus LTE compatible?

hi guys - im in the uk, just phoned up tesco mobile to change my tariff to 4g as it is free now to all customers, anyway i told them i have a htc one x plus 64gb uk version phone, they said it was fine and is 4g compatible..anyway recieved my microsim, but im not getting 4g only 3g and H...they said i shud be getting it any ideas ? ta, anyone got any settings that i could try..ta

Just a though, look into the preferred network mode to see what is selected.

As far as I know the "International" (ie uk versions) of the HOX+ are NOT 4G compatible. It is only the US versions that are. Sorry😒

After much searching, I found a page from Consumer Cellular (my carrier) that details how to enable phones to use their 4g LTE network. https://www.consumercellular.com/Support/Knowledgebase/2/42/198

However, a number of the steps given use terms that do not correspond to anything that I can find on my unlocked HTC One x + that woks without problems on their 3 G network. Any ideas or tales of success?
