HTC Ozone help

I got an HTC Ozone as a backup phone. It is not activated. I connected it to WiFi but I couldn't get online or set up email.

What am I doing wrong?

not sure. my ozone can do email and everything fine on wifi. you cant connect to the web at all? id try to do a factory wipe on it if you dont have a bunch of info

No info on it at all yet. I did the factory reset. I wonder If the WiFi I used restricted it. I'll have to try another.

Can I use Google Sync on that unit? Is like to get my info on it and ready to go use if needed.

When I set up my gmail it came back outgoing server not recognized.
