HTC RC E100 Headset

Hi folks,

Have seen this on ebay:
? NEW GENUINE HTC RC E100 HEADSET WITH REMOTE CONTROL ? on eBay (end time 28-May-10 01:07:25 BST)

And would quite like it for the car so i can easily skip tracks etc without touching the phone.

Anyone know if it works on the desire?

I like the look of it but I think it may be for the older phones like the Diamond which had the non standard (usb like) audio connector.

On the HTC website it says...

Interface: 11-pin ExtUSB™ male connector

Won't your normal headphones skip tracks????

I have this with my old HTC TYTNII it has a mini not micro plug.

Yeah they do, but I want to connect my phone to my stereo aux connector in the car with some inline controls in the middle so I can skip tracks using the controls rather than the phone while driving.

Thanks for the replies so - good job I didn't just go ahead and buy em - which is what I usually do!
