HTC Ringtone Trimmer

So I was in the Application manager, and one app was called HTC Ringtone Trimmer. I already have Ringdroid, but if the Hero has one built in, where the hell is it?!

It magically appears as an option when you are playing or viewing a song in the HTC music app and you choose to set the song as a ringtone. The option to trim it comes up and this then opens the HTC ringtone trimmer.

:O...did not know that. If I do it that way does the trimmed tone get saved on SD Card or does it go straight into the phone memory once selected for ringtone where it then cannot be got at to delete when you want to change.

It goes into a folder on the SD card, which is handy. But to be honest, I think ringdroid does a better job at trimming and is easier to use.
