Help HTC Sensation 4G isn't as quick

I just got this phone, but it's slowed down a lot. I've only had it for about a week, and it's not as fast as before. I think I know why, but I don't know how to make it fast again.

So the reason why it might've slowed down is because I've been using it as a Hot Spot for my lap top, but then I let my brother use it too, and after that it just hasn't been the same. Almost everything about this phone has slowed down. The Hot Spot has slowed down, the internet, and downloading apps has slowed down as well.

I did a factory reset, but that didn't work. I want it to be like it was before but I don't know how. Could someone help? I'd really appreciate it.

First of all check your data plan. Once you hit your limit (and you do have one) you are throttled back to 2g speeds. Either up your plan or go WiFi.

the cap with tmobile is either 2GB or 5GB, and if it's 2, and you are using it as a hotspot, then you will hit that pretty quick. But, keep in mind that it is a monthly cap, so when the next billing cycle hits, your 4g speeds will be restored.
