Help htc sensation 4g known BUGS!!!

Hello to you all!
My first post, I would just like to say I am happy to join this forum. HTC Sensation 4G is my first android device - switched from Symbian and Maemo Nokia N900. I own the phone for 3 weeks now and I noticed bugs on my device:
- phone disconnects from WI-FI, unable to scan for networks (have to reset the phone to get the WI-FI working )
- phone resets on its own. I was asked to send a report to HTC
- Camera from time to time would make marks on the screen that represent green stripes (to fix, just reboot the phone)
- battery performance was very poor so I upgraded to CHICHITEC 1900 mah. I am very satisfied now.
- scrolling through apps is not as smooth as it should it be (the reset does not fix that)

Please post your known bugs so that HTC will be aware of them and will fix them all.

Way to take the initiative, but I don't think you'll see the same sort of community support like @ maemo.org.


Sorry to hear that you're having those issues, but I haven't experienced any of what you're seeing. Battery is lasting about as long as my 900....24-36 hours of "my normal use". However battery does take more of a hit when signal strength is 3 bars or less. Unfortunately, this phone will shoe 3-4 bars of cell signal when dBm strength is -95dBm to -105dBm, the point when establishing a call may not succeed.

On my second phone now, first was multiabnormal feasts.

New phone has only had a few. Had the green lines with the cam. Few freezes. Nice phone orer all

I had the green stripe camera issue once. Thought I had broke my phone somehow. I just restarted it and it works fine now. Haven't seen the issue since, but who's to say it won't come back, or maybe get progressively worse? HTC, please fix this.

I have had the green lines on the screen when camera is on, constantly drops the network and I have to repeatedly try to reconnect before it comes back, can not get my mms messages, and now when I try to search for mp3's in my down loader it gives a 'network error' message. I am so frustrated with T-mobile and HTC that I wish both would just disintegrate!

Hello and welcome to the forums, dbs826.

There was an OTA last year that was supposed to address some of the issues you mention. Did you purchase your Sensation from the carrier, or from a 3rd party?
