Mine get heat up when I play games or watch movie or sometime browsing ... Is it safe? Will it dsmage ma done.

found app called battery booster,
tells you how hot the phone is and percentage of battery life left,
mine only gets hot when inning it for 40 mins constant

Well i don't think its the battery, its the place below the battery which gets hot.

I dont think its the battery tat gets hot, its the place below the battery where u find it some card n SD card.
I am having the same issue. I have only had the phone for approx 10 days. I phoned T-mobile and they are sending me a replacement battery. I also purchased a new one too. I will post whether or not the new batteries make a difference.
I had a desire before the Sensation which used to do this too and didn't do any harm in the 16 months i've used it. Can't say i've noticed the sensation particularly getting any hotter than the desire did.
Using the phone whilst charging is usually the main culprit or at least was with the desire.
Pretty sure the phone will have an auto shut off if the temp got dangerously high anyway so nothing to worry about

For me the issue of screen was never there, it only appeared yesterday (its been more than a month since i bought my sensation). Yesterday i was playing a game and the battery was at 8 % so i plugged the charger and kept playing for another 15 minutes. When i exited the game and then after 5 minutes i checked i found that screen's bottom portion was heated up and not working properly. Launching other applications and doing weird stuff. I checked the temperature and it was at 40, i let it cool down and when temperature reached 37, the screen has become less hot and it started working properly and is fine since then.
The only thing that i m worried abt is if that heating might have caused some permanent damage to screen.

I think the heating issue is normal for any smart phone and this isnt any smart phone it got a dual core in it.
out of topic:
when I click /push on the bottom right of the phone (@ the search button) I noticed that there is kinda ticking like the phone isnt tightly closed dunno how to describe it I was wondering if it is normal or not

Hi, I have a Bell Sensation 4G and for the most part I love it (best screen I've seen on any phone, even iPhone).
Last night, with the battery charged to 100%, I set an alarm for 7:30 am. No alarm this morning, so I checked phone. It was OFF!
I did not turn it off before going to sleep. I notice the phone gets very hot, even with just normal use (games like others have said make it even hotter), and I do have the phone in a Case-Mate Barely There case that grips the unit very closely. I'm curious if others in this thread have the same (or other snug-fitting) case on their phone.
The phone just randomly shuts down. It just happened again this afternoon. Checked memory, there is 109MB available (onboard). Is that enough for it to not do this on a regular basis?
Running 2.3.4 (most recent Bell update).
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I notice that my phone does get warm yes, but so did the iphone I had before. When you're using HQ apps, video and games the phone has to work harder. I'm not worried about it, it doesn't affect my performance. Like someone said, it happens with all smartphones.

While I agree that these phones do get quite hot under heavy use (especially the stock battery), it shouldnt get so hot that it switches itself off.
If its shutting down because its over heating you probably have a faulty handset, so I would get it either replaced or repaired under warranty.

I had my phone sitting in standby. The battery was charged. I picked it up to check something and it was so hot that I had to switch hands. It wouldn't power on. I switched batteries and the phone is completely dead, I think it is toasted and well done. Thanks HTC. Can anyone say recall?
