Help HTC Sensation - HTC Sense 3 problems

I'm on my 3rd Sensation XE now - the first two developed a problem with the headphone mode either being constantly on or constantly off.

A factory reset did solve the issue on one - but seriously, I'm not happy doing a factory reset every few weeks and re importing spotify, kindle and all other data.

My 3rd sensation xe is now constantly muting when I answer a call, then rebooting itself.

If I try and make a call it immediately reboots itself. I'm doing a soft reset now.

Indeed a hard reset might make things work again but for how long?

I've not used task killers or power managers, and I don't constantly download apps either.

I really loved a lot about this phone and have bought a good few perpherials for it.

However software or not - its rapidly destroying HTC's reputation for me and likelyhood I'll buy a phone from them again.

It's an upsetting prospect as I dont feel any phones come close to htc's build quality.

Hey,

I had the same problem as you for months until I uninstalled my Juice-defender app. Since then the load screen doesn't pop up and my internet etc works faster. I restarted my phone also after uninstalling.

If you have any task killer or power saving app I'd suggest deleting it....you'll be surprised at the difference!

Hi Adam, is your Sensation running ICS and was your Juice defender "ultimate" ??
Its been a few days since you posted, is the phone still running ok ???
