Help htc sensation SD card replacement.

I have bought a 16 GB SD card to replace the 8 GB one that comes with the phone and I would like to know if the folders contained on the card in the phone are important and if they need to be copied onto the new card , some of the folders are empty but some of them are over 1GB in size does anyone know what these folders are for, when I saw the phone came with an 8GB SD card I thought that I would have all that space for media files and I was quite surprised to find so much of the card taken up by other stuff.

The folders etc on the old card should be created when you put the new card into the phone.

You can copy them over to the new card anyway with no issues.
