Help HTC Sensation XE Email recycle bin

Hi,

I have had my HTC Sensation XE for a couple of weeks now and I have just noticed the recycle bin on my gmail account has really old emails. How do I delete these permanently? :confused:

As far as I'm aware, you have to do this on the desktop version of Gmail. Any messages in your trash that are older than 30 days 'should' automatically be deleted.
However, I've just checked mine and found some going back to January. On desktop, you can either click the link at the top of the list to delete anything older than 30 days, or select some or all of them and click 'Delete Forever'.
