HTC Sense problems after launcher pro de-install

I was having a look at tghe lanucher pro beta app which is OK but sense is better. Anyway, I uninstalled it and now HTC sense is force closing all the time and I am unable to get to the app settings to see what the problem is.

Can anyone help out and get me to a place where I can sort this out. Will I have to do some form of hard reboot?

Ended up doing a factory reset. Thank god I'm using Exchange active Sync and google mail for my contacts etc.
