Help HTC Sense UI help...

Hi All,

please help I have an HTC One X + and am using the stock sense ui keyboard. After sending a few texts to my better half I sent one with the word love in capitals now the phone continually substitutes "I love you" with "I LOVE you" which is quite frankly doing my head in!

I have located and checked the personal dictionary but the word LOVE is not in there, additionally I added the word love but it has made no change.

there is probably either a really simple fix for it or it can't be done.

Is it possible to reset the HTC sense standard (not personal) dictionary???

Thanks in advance for your help.

Moved to One X Plus section. :)

EDIT: Try going to settings > Language & Keyboard > and see if you see your user dictionary to delete the saved word. :)

Hi MP,

I went into language and keyboard etc and can find the user dictionary and the word LOVE was not in there it must be in the stock keyboard dictionary the problem comes in the fact auto correct keeps capitalising the whole word and I can't see a restore to default option its not just in text messages but whenever I type the word LOVE

You could try clearing the data on the stock keyboard app. That should do the trick. :)
You can also try long pressing on the word when it shows up and see if it gives nay option to delete it.

Light bulb moment!

Sense input is running as an app...
dig up all apps in the app manager and clear data...
problem solved

thanks for your help

Go to settings -> language and keyboard -> HTC Sense Input -> Personal dictionary. Here you can add and delete words.

Cheers.
