htc sense widget apk

[ljbaumer]

is there a way of pulling some of the widgets from htc sense and then using it on a ROM that dosen't have sense built into it? i really like all the widgets of sense but i don't really like the actually feel of using sense with the seven home screens and the bar at the bottom so if there was a way of getting most of the sense widgets on a non-sense phone... that would be great.

i think it would have been done already if it were possible... i think htc signs the .apk and thats the reason they can't be changed... please correct me if i'm wrong
