Help HTC Shift Freezing up

My wife has had an Evo Shift for a week now. Today, her Shift froze up and I had to do a bettery pull to unfreeze and restart it. She mentioned that it has frozen before, but never that hard and that after a few minutes, will return to working.

Any ideas what is causing it to freeze up? Let me know what infro you need and I will fill in the blanks...

it could be an app that she recently downloaded that's making it lock up. try to find out which application she downloaded lately and noticed it started to freeze. Then, uninstall that app and see if it happens again...
