HTC Sync Update Issues

New update to ver. 3.0.5481 has just been installed. Issues include...

1) duplicate events in calendar
2) wrong dates for events
3) no sync after initial sync

I have reverted back to a working older version. Anybody else experiencing issues?

The update link on the HTC Aria Support page still has version 2.0.38 listed as the official version. Where did you download version 3.0.5481 from?

I installed Sync 3.0.5481 on my EVO and now almost all of my contcts are duplicated on my phone.

The old Sync had a "repair" function that would wipe the phone contacts clean and place all contacts from the PC onto the phone. This new one does not have that. Looks like I'm going back to the old version.

I wanted to use this version because it syncs Internet Explorer favorites but that didn't work either. It only synced the favorites on my favorites bar, not the 800 or so in the rest of my favorites.
