I'm aware that HTC Sense doesn't currently work and HTC can't decide when it will again.
However, I also find that HTC Sync is also being degraded in terms of functionality. Here is what I received from HTC's support staff:
"You are correct on the fact that you cannot find the "Sync Manager" and the "Repair" options, the present version of the HTC Sync does not support this anymore."
Which begs the question: The purpose of backing up the phone is to do what now?
As a new owner of HTC products, is this common place in others experience?
I would suggest that part of the package that is sold with the phone (I'm talking manufactures product here not the operators) is the provision of these services. This (in the UK) violates Trading Standards Sale of Goods Act and is a pre-requisite, not an afterthought.
