Help HTC Sync

I am having issues with syncing my phone to the computer. I have downloaded the lastest sync software from HTC's website, but my phone just wont connect.


Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered before!


Any help??

I had exactly the same problem using HTC's latest software and Outlook 2000 - it just wouldn't work.

I downloaded MyPhoneExplorer and that worked great. It's free, but you can donate if you like it. I sent the developer a few quid just a few minutes ago - it's certainly well worth it.

Exactly the same for me. Though there is now a later HTC Sync on HTC's website but can't be faffed to download it as MPE works so well.

It was actually the latest version of HTC's Sync that I used: version 3.0.5511 dated 11th January 2011, and that wouldn't work with Windows Outlook 2000.

Good man! Saved me the hassle of finding that out for myself.

I agree with Steve C. MyPhoneExplorer is a great, working alternative to the sometimes buggy HTC Sync.

MyPhoneExplorer is great but the Wifi connection function is a little flaky, at least for me. Sometimes it fails to connect but most of the time it's fine.
