Help htc sync

im trying to put photos from my desire onto the computer via htc sync ,instead of the photos on my phone ,it is loading on photos from websites ive visited , photos of log ins to forums ive visited etc , anyone any idea whats going on here ?

Don't bother with HTC Sync, when you connect your phone to the PC choose the option on your phone called something like mount storage and then you should be able to browse your SD card on your PC. Then your pictures should be in DCIM.

its not an option ,i have 4 options

1. charge only
2.htc sync
3.disk drive (mount as disc drive)
4.usb tethering
