Help HTC touch Desire update

[mariadesire83]

Hello everyone,

Newbie here!!

I recently did a system software update on my HTC Touch Desire phone to Android 2.2. Now my phone is very slow, when I am sending and receiving texts. Especially when I am typing it takes ages for the letters to appear on the screen.

Also I have the same message from the same person twice and also the same for text messages I have sent.

Would like to know how to resolve this problem.

Many Thanks
Maria
