Help HTC update reduced refresh rate?

The 9/22 update bumped my FPS to 50 but I believe it also cut down the refresh rate. There is a marked difference in display quality. Small text appears less crisp. It's like changing from 80Hz to 60Hz on a CRT monitor.

I had the same problem; went into display settings, and my unit had switched to 480p resolution. Switched back to 720p, and have had no problems!

That would have no effect whatsoever even if it were true. (It runs at 60hz in the first place) This isn't a CRT, the difference wouldn't show.

I saw absolutely no display quality difference, right down to the pixel.
