Help HTC weather will not update

I noticed lately that my HTC clock with the weather widget doesn't update automatically. Everytime I go into settings, the update automatically box is unchecked. No matter how many times I check the box it always ends up unchecked when I go back. This is really frustrating me.

Any ideas?

Make sure sync for weather is also selected in Settings > Accounts & Sync

Thanks nilse. I actually figured out the issue before I checked back here at phandroid. My 2 yr ok daughter was playing a kid game last night. She must have turned off auto sync. Now that I think about it I haven't gotten any emails since. Thanks for your help but I figured it out.

Thanks, I drove to Florida back in July and during that trip, that is when my gmail stopped getting emails pushed to my phone. It must have also been the same time when my weather stopped updating automatically as well. Not sure why and how it caused this when traveling, so maybe should be investigated by some techs.
