Help HTC Wildfire root please help

Hi everyone I'm new to all this but ive managed to install froyo on my wildfire by creating a goldcard and flashing a stock ROM. This has debranded my phone, but I was also under the impression that this rooted my phone too. This is not the case. Can someone please help me to root my phone or can this not be done yet.

as you said yourself you have installed a ruu stock rom, so nope can't be done as yet , froyo can't be rooted at the moment. you will have to wait for unrevoked to crack it.
