I'm assuming since its a newer device for Metro the word is not out there yet...

I thoguht on asking anyway cuz I cant seem to find the answer...

How do you:

1. Root this device - I seem to find only stuff for VM ROM.
2. Manually push PRL
3. Remove Metro Bloatware - this phone is really horrible on space :/

Any input appreciated!

The [once Virgin Mobile only] guides work for US Cellular and should work for all newer A510c Wildfire S's [all cdma or marvelc WFS]. Link is here. Hope that helps.

Rob

If you'd like to verify your phone is A510c drop to hboot... power off, wait about 5-10 seconds press volume down and hold then hit the power button. It should say marvel, marvelc or marvelct. Sometimes it will even say A510c in Menu>Settings>About Phone>Phone Identity.. if MetroPCS didn't customize it out [US Cellular did; VM didn't] :)
marvelc & marvelct [think the latter is Chinese cdma variant] are A510c
marvel could be A510a,b,e ... but basically the gsm side of WFS

Following the aforementioned thread out [so you don't have to], the MetroPCS user who s-off'd did so with simonsimon34's guide, then ran into some trouble getting super one click to root, then followed an old guide from Heritz on xda to get root... So that makes me 100% it can be done. That old guide is the same one I used originally; now I grab an app called un-rooting from the market. That does work to root/unroot [I ignore the chinese subtitles as I can't read them anyway] ;) if you like convenience :)
