Htc Wildfire screen

Hi everyone,

I was wondering whether the wildfire's screen was made from gorilla glass because I do have a screen protector on it but I don't like the feel of it and I want to take it off. If the screen is pretty resilient to scratches then I would consider it. I'm usually careful with the phone and don't put it in pockets with keys, coins etc.

I wouldn't put a screen protector on personally, just makes the touch screen less responsive and looks crap.

I take my Wildfire to work every day in a manual job and have had it in my pocket with keys, coins etc and my screen is as pristine as the day i got it.

It might not be scratch resistant but it's pretty damn tough and i haven't had any problems with that side of things up to now *touch wood*
 
i have a mirror screen protector and its reacts the same as if it were off i wouldnt risk it that why i bought one.
 
Ok, thanks for the help. I just took my old protector off and it looks about 50 times better. Do all protectors make the screen have a different kind of texture, I don't mean when you touch it I mean when the screen is on I can see there is something there, the screen doesn't look as bright and it just makes it look terrible. I don't really know how to explain it. I'll try a different brand and see how it goes, otherwise I might try without one and hope for the best.

hi everyone can i ask? ..what should i do if my screen got stuck and I've already tried to push the power and the down volume but still it won't work...what should i do next?
 
omg ! thank you for this forum,now i can use my phone for how many days of no display....i just choose factory reset and press the power button...
