Help HTC Wildfire - with IC or not?

Would like to buy a new one on eBay

Please confirm your digitizer is with IC or without IC before you buy

Some guy is saying:

You have to remove the back (6 screws, breaks void), behind the the simcard reader is a small opening in the circuit board and if there is a black cable, you have no IC. If there is some microchip, then you need the version with the IC.
