Help HTC Z Pictures are gone!!!!!!!

Im a new user of this phone...love it but!:) I was taking pictures no problem says 7 on camera and 7 on phone. Recently I took pictures saw them on the camera and a video but when I went back in they were not there. :( Is there a setting that I may have changed unknowingly or could this be a techy problem.

All help greatly appreciated.
 
It sounds like an issue with the Gallery app on the phone. I had this issue with my phone as well. What I did was install a different picture viewer app and it is able to show all of my pictures that went missing. I use QuickPic. Try installing this app and see if you can use it to view your missing pictures.
