Turbomentor, I just downloaded Mr. Smith's care package and noted that three of the four files inside the zipped download were marked with "hidden" file attributes. Just change your computer's file viewing settings to "view hidden files" and you'll see all four included files.

I managed to find the files elsewhere. But I should have thought to make sure I was seeing ALL the files in the ZIP! Thanks again for helping out.

I just went thru the unlocking process last night, the step by step directions on HTC's site made unlocking the phone easy. I also used the one click method of rooting my phone.

Wondering if anyone can help or confirm with this,

Running a rooted HTC Rezound using Scott's CleanROM 1.2
My headset buttons no longer control the default Music app

They still work though, I can double click the play button and it places a phone call.

I'm wondering if anyone else running the 1.2 ROM is having the same issue, if not I know to investigate my phone specifically.

(I already tried uninstalling other media apps but no dice yet.. kind of annoying problem for me.. at least until HTC outs the Beats API for PowerAMP dev)
