The incredible S is there, but the DINC2 isn't.

Anyone know what the story here is? Will selecting the DINCS on the site work w the DINC2?

Selectiong the IncS will not work. The reason the Inc2 isn't listed is because it's not a supported device.

I just got an email back from HTC stating that. It reads:

"I understand that you cannot connect to HTCSense.com on your Incredible 2. This is because the Incredible 2 is not compatible with HTCSense.com; it doesn't have the HTC Hub on the device to sign into. I apologize for any confusion and any inconvenience you may have experienced."

I replied with a "why?" I swore leading up to the release of the Inc2, one of the features being pushed was HTCSense.com's features and how the IncS had it and the Inc2 is to have it as well. I was looking forward to it. I'm kind of disappointed and a little upset as no review that I've seen from the internet(cnet, android central, engadget) mentioned that it was not compatible. I do understand that most reviews can't get to EVERY knook and cranny of a phone but that feature was being pushed dating back to the reveal of the IncS at either CTIA or MWC wasn't looked at during the review.

Oh well. The phone is still very nice.

It was locked out due to Verizon being a bag of dicks about other stores than Vcast being available on their phones. Likely none of the reviewers would have known that and that is why they kept pushing it, though they probably should have figured as much since the Thunderbolt is also locked out even though its variant phone (Desire HD) is not.
