Huawei ascend g300 resets to default

just got huawei g300 u8815 base 2030 build b960 android ics 4.03
it was brand new and vodaphone locked i have unlocked it to any network

the problem i have is everytime i disconnect form Pc all ringtones etc reset to factory default is there a fix for this ?

i would also like to get all the vodaphone off it whats the best way to achieve this

Are you just disconnecting from the PC (pulling the cable out) or are you unmounting properly?

If the former, try unmounting properly and see if that makes a difference.

Common problem for all G300 devices with ICS 4.0.3. The only thing I can recommend you to do is to choose "connect as MTP device" (or something like that, don't remember exactly) when connected to a PC. Thus you computer won't have access to the system settings and the ringtones won't reset.

thanks for replies , i do unmount and turn off usb storage how do you mount as mtp device not seen that one,
also is there a way to rmove vodaphone rubbish etc thanks again

If you open notification panel at the top of your home screen you'll see there the options for USB connection. Choose it and you'll see two modes for USB connection.
