huawei g300 ascend

I am less than hopeless with mobile phones,I have a huawei ascend g300 great phone but i am having a problem with the internet,when i.m at home i have no problem with wifi and the internet but when i leave my home i lose the wifi and also internet,
I have virgin media router,with all the virgin tv,broadband,home phone.
I do have a virgin media blackberry which i have no problem at all with .
I was /am on virgin PAYG
I have now got GiffGaff sim on PAYG with the huawei phone
can anyone help me with the settings so i am able to get the internet etc etc.ps also the settings to send mms ive tried the usual settings vnp with there user and password but to no avail
sorry if its not to clear as i am hopeless with these things

Download tweakker from Google play and select giffgaff as the network operator

If you have already updated to ics then you need the separate ics beta version of the app.
