Huawei Glory links, leaks, facts and speculation thread

I've asked them by email if this model is truly 'Dual sim, dual stand by' If so, this seems to be an affordable top specs dual sim phone.

Will post if I get an answer.

Their answer:It is single sim phone. Sorry for our typo. If you need a good dual sim phone, you can buy Lenovo a60

Good to know, doubt they made a typo. Seems more like they just posted the wrong info provided to them. Cricket wont have a use for a GSM phone to sell. Idk if MetroPCS uses sim cards.

All I can contribute to the release, I have a Cricket insider, is it was added to the system and thats all he knows too. He went to activate a phone and realized Cricket added it to the system/database which *should* mean it should be out pretty soon.

Amazing there hasn't been a single TV commercial, web advertisment, press release, YouTube video, magazine ad or anything else to announce this.
The only quasi-reviews/news on the net are months old and all pretty much the same article reprinted.

In fact, if I hadn't done a Google search for "best prepaid android" I would have never known about the Glory.

This is NOT the way to make your product a best seller.

However I suppose whenever they finally do release it, Ill have something no one else knows about. That's kinda cool.

I'm thinking they don't want everyone waiting for this phone to come out instead of buying the phones they have out now. They'll probably promote it after it's released. Also, the Samsung Transfix just showed up on their website one day and I had never even heard of that one. Maybe they'll release the Glory/Mercury the same way. I do hope it sells well, though, or there won't be any ROMs for it.

Nice. I've seen a few Cricket commercials here and there, but I hear a lot of them on the radio, usually promoting whatever phone they have on sale that month.
