Huge Twitter update

I just foolishly allowed Twitter to update. The new version is HUGE and causes the dreaded low memory message. Of course, it can't be moved to the SD card. Anybody know how to downgrade to an older and smaller version?

I think the Uninstall Updates option came with Android 4 but could be wrong.. i didnt spend much time on gingerbread.
Is Twitter a system app on the phone (built in) or did u download it?
I dont wana give out details of file sharing sites because it indirectly supports pirating but you could probably very easily find the apk of an older version and install it (side load)

Maybe Twitter have a site with archived versions of the app like Adobe have for Flash... then you wouldnt be taking the risk of gettin dodgy software

I downloaded Twitter from the Android Market or Google Play, whichever it was at the time.

I've got a support case started with Twitter on it, too. I'm not real hopeful about that. They don't seem to really want to support users, I just keep getting auto-replies pointing me to the FAQs, which of course don't offer any guidance on this issue.

Id look for an apk of the older version then mate and uninstall the new one. Just google something like twitter.apk and the version you want
