I am new to the forums, and just wanted to say hullo.

I am planning on purchasing a Verizon phone running Android and need some advice. I think that I have it narrowed down to the HTC Incredible and the Motorola Droid X.

I am planning on rooting whichever phone I get and putting in a custom ROM, something as close to the stock Android OS as possible. I just want to remove all the crapware that both the phones have on them.

I have a couple of questions, so I'll just launch into them now:

1) Which is more difficult to root and install a new ROM the HTC Incredible or Motorola Droid?

2) Is it actually possible to install the stock Android OS from Google on either of these phones?
