Help Humidity and the X

Do any of you DX owners have issues with using the phone while it's humid out? In the past I've had horrible experiences with touchscreen phones. Usually I would have to wait until I was indoors again to use it.

Most electronic devices like this type do not get along too well with sustained exposure to high humidity and this includes beaches (of course).

r u speaking of having slightly moist finger tips while trying to use the screen?
if so i am also. its nature of the (this) beast.

I don't know, is it moist fingers that causes the phone to go wacky? I've wiped the phone, wiped my hands and it still doesn't react like it normally would. I guess it is in the nature of touchphones. Oh well, maybe one day they'll be able to figure something to prevent this since smartphones are evolving to touchscreens.

I have trouble with ALL capacitive touch screen devices in high humidity areas.

Iphail, iphail music touch, iphail maxi, HTC EVO, Logitech HT remote, HP tabliet.

I expected my DX to be just the same, last night it was.

but wiping them off occasionally helps a lot.

When my screen is dirty or my fingers are moist I have issues but right now I am outside it's 96 degrees and 90% humidity with no issues.

Compared to all my previous smartphone I find it reacts very poorly in high humidity areas. Even leaving my phone in a separate room while showering and the doors open the phone wasn't happy. Im not really surprised by this or bothered.
