Help "Hump" in the back

SonuK

Lurker
Why does all Samsung Galaxy S II have a hump in the lower back? I love everything about the Galaxy S II in terms of specs, design and shape. I even like the plastic case which make that phone lighter. However I just cannot stand the hump on the back no matter how small it is and the hump is the only reason why I am not switching from iPhone 4. I know for most people it is a minor issue but the hump looks hideous and distorts the design.

Why does the iPhone NOT have a hump in the back? Because that is the way they designed it. :)

Actually the charging and speaker is there and to keep the phone so thin 95% of it is humpless and the bottom 5% got humped to hold the electronics.

The "hump" doesn't bother me as I use it to orient my hand when pulling the phone out of my pocket much the way I used the "home" button on my iPhone 4.

Doesn't bother me one bit. Still a damn good phone at this point.
