hypothetical question

Personal note: This is a serious and important topic. We should keep talking about it so we can be adequately prepared.
 
I don't know... If I was an alien with the prime directive to destroy human life on earth (presumably to harvest raw material (water, gold etc)), I'd simply release several nasty diseases upon the populace. A month later, I'd claim Earth as my personal (ASCII don't have the alien glyphs I require to complete this sentence) ;)

I thought the iPhone and apple was the aliens attempt at controlling us. Good thing the little green dude came to our rescue. No Steve I don't mean you.:p

MORONS! Everybody knows the prime directive is a Star Fleet and United Federation of Planets guideline to keep advanced planets from interfering with lesser civilizations such as ours. ;)
