I Almost just regretted purchasing the Evo Shift...

After learning of the upcoming, 1ghz Nexus S 4G, and the currently available, 1ghz HTC Arrive, I was almost sitting at my office in regret. However, the Nexus doesn't have a physical keyboard which is a deal breaker and the HTC Arrive is running Windows which is a NOGO, so were GOLDEN!

My 1.2ghz Shift is plenty fast for now. Just wish I could run Tegra2 games on it haha.

The google nexus s isn't anything better than shift even if it had a physical keyboard. The tech specs differences are minimal.
Same goes for HTC Arrive, look at the spec differences:

Not even worth mentioning in my opinion. Plus of course like you said, it's gonna be a windows phone so if you're fine with using internet explorer as a browser, be my guest hahaha. And the physical keyboard on HTC Arrive is really ugly in my opinion.

Thing about the Nexus S 4G is that it's a pure Android experience that you will see on the cutting edge of software technology because it's the "Google phone". If RadioShack offers a good trade-in deal like they have been for previous phones I may replace my Shift with it. I do love my Shift, but I am also a sucker for new stuff and I want the software updates and "pure" OS.

Yeah But what makes me sooo want the nexus s 4g is how great Crapsung is updating stuff..
OH! but since it's the nexus google is the one in charge of the updates!!.
BUT.. Crapsung is also known for their crappy gps ...

SO I love my Shift and love it more!!.. lol
The only phone that can make me possibly a but jealous is The EVO 3D (if there's such phone) which a lot of rumors say Yes! there's such phone..

I love my shift but I bought it with the intent of selling it back to best buy on their buy back program when the evo 3d comes out.

Thats why I said almost... haha I like the whole keyboard speakers thing with the arrive.

But your right, I guess I assumed they were alot stronger hardware wise...

IE10 is leaps and bounds ahead of how things were. It is a great browser, and I now only use firefox simply because I am used to it. I had the chance to play with the browser on WP7 a bit (not an extensive test by any means) and was pretty impressed with it.

yeah but html5 is getting more and more popular and more features are being used everyday by a lot of websites and its pretty much the future for www.
and you can take a look at the compatibility of certain html5 functions here:

nope, not going for IE =)
