I am going to do the Factory Data Reset

I have LG Optimus V (never been activated !!), use it on wifi only !!!

The Market just update a lot of google app & VM virgin mobile crap app which take up all my phone memory, so I am going to do the Factory Data Reset using the following:

Press 「Home」 > Settings >Privacy >Factory Data Reset

Q1) , should I uninstall all the app I download to test out before I do the Factory Data Reset, or will all the app auto install again after I Factory Reset ?

Q2)Is there any way to move all the APP to ad (even unmovable one by App2SD) ?

I know "link2sd app" , but the "root" part seem very complicated !!

Q3)I just need to make link2sd" kind of app work, I really don't need to root for other reason, Help?

It will not auto install. After doing the factory reset the phone will be just as though you removed it right from the box. And the bloatware that updated will update itself again.

Link2SD needs superuser permission each time it links, you can't temp root and use link2sd.

Addendum; if you root you can use a couple different apps to freeze or uninstall that bloatware.

Factory reset just resets the phone. If you want to reformat the sd card go to menu/settings/storage setings/Erase SD card. This will do as it say's. If you have reformatted your sd card to something other than the default FAT setting then you will need to put it into your PC.

Go to menu/settings/storage/click on unmount SD card. When it says mount sd card you can pull it out of your phone.

You will need the supplied adapter to insert it into your PC. Once installed in your PC do these things: A window will pop up,exit it. Go to start/computer/ right click SD card. A window will pop up. Select fomat. A window will pop up(Format SD Card), Under "File system" select FAT (Default). Select start. This will take a while. When done click on the Icon In your task bar that will allow you to safely remove hardware.

After inserting it into your phone it should automatically mount the SD card,if not select this option. Wait for it to mount and update the files then you are good to go.
