Root I am running Apex...want to flash Gingerbread leak easily?

Ok, maybe this is a dumb question but I have to ask it because I have only changed roms/themes/etc. a few times.

I am currently running Apex ROM, build number 1.3.1

I have an interest in running the leaked Gingerbread but am not certain because I honestly am happy with the Apex ROM still.

I have ROM Manager and Titanium Backup...is there an easy way to save this, flash to the other, and have the option to flash back? When I switched to the Apex ROM, I had an "OMG" moment because I read to clear the cache and all so I had lost a few contacts...just want the easiest way to keep all of my info and not have to freak out

Sorry again if this is a noob question but I usually stick to a theme or ROM for a while so am not the best at this

Well, once you go to GB, you can't just flash back to Apex if you don't like GB.
When I first went to GB(1st leak) from Apex 1.4.1 I just wiped data and flashed GB and it was ok but did have some Wi-Fi issues so I SBF'ed and then went to GB(1st Leak) but that did not help the Wi-Fi. When GB (Leak2) came out. I SBF'd back to stock 340 and then flashed GB2. Wi-Fi is better but not as stable as Apex (340). But again, you can't just flash back to Apex(or any 340) from GB, you have to SBF back.

PS: Was it worth it to go to GB from 340 for me?, yea, cause it is faster and I love the "App Groups"
