The things I have problems with are very minimal and are a result of me being nitpicky compared to the problems I had with my Q9M. No phone will ever be perfect. The almighty iPhone is far from perfect. The Eris is pretty close though (IMO). You do have to do some maintenance on it but I have to do maintenance on my quad core desktop running CentOS. Another procedure I forgot to mention is that I delete all my text conversations once they get >~25 messages. I am also hesitant to install a lot of 3rd party apps. I've also seen people state that appkiller programs cause a lot of processing overhead themselves and pretty much cancel out their benefit of reducing overhead from other apps. I have not tried an app killer for myself, but I could see this being the case.
My biggest complaint was that my phone was dropping a lot of calls the other day when I was in the office. My Q9M was an awful device, but it never dropped a call in the two years I owned it. Recently, however, the call dropped issue seems to have worked itself out.
